We were thrilled to find they are still open in Birmingham. meat and spinach filled with a sugo sauce or spinach pasta and ricotta filling in a palamino sauce. I ordered a bowl of minestrone and it was not good. The garlic bread was incredible and the creamy Romano salad dressing was just as tasty as from past visits. So the manager decided to send the bartender over to come and wait on us. We ordered...an appetizer of mussels in a white wine sauce. I have found that the food is excellent, I am full blooded Italian, travel to Italy...often and find this Italian food comparable to any other so called Italian restaurant. OUR MENU.

Great the place is still so great. horrible. stated that the server for that area had called off and there was no coverage for that area. So no pasta included with the dinner.
The original Salvatore Scallopini in Madison Heights makes an original caesar salad, pasta on the side and two nice chicken breasts for the chicken tosca-no charge for extra bread or anchovies. It was barely edible.

We used to go to Salvatore Scallopini's in Flint. The menu is, just okay! My only complaint was poorly cleaned silverware and glasses.
It came out piping hot - which pasta noodles are not supposed to be piping hot because they continue to cook and become mushy-the opposite of al dente, so I assume they were not drained and strained properly. breaded veal baked with marinara & mozzarella. Olive Garden is better than this place.More. sauteed shrimp, calamari, mussels & clams (white or red sauce) over linguine, jumbo shrimp broiled in garlic butter, bread crumbs and scallions, served over angel hair pasta, fillet of sole, breaded and sauteed with lemon-garlic or fresh tomatoes, garlic, spices & scallions - with fresh vegetables, pan roasted with a daily special presentation, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Detroit North - Roseville, Extended Stay America - Detroit - Roseville, Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Roseville/Detroit Area, Michigan Military Technical & Historical Society. They both have good food, but I like the ambiance of the Eastpointe location. The bread, the ricotta garlic spread, the arancini, the pasta.
